The technology of cryonics inspires this work. Humans have always pursued eternity through technology, but everyone knows that death is part of the natural laws. In this work, I extracted Chinese characters that mean “rot” and “dead” and placed them into the vacuum bag and kept them in a glass box that looked like a freezer. Then use salt to create a freezing effect. I try to use this work to explore people’s attitudes behind the behavior of using technology to seek for eternality.
